When I started the adventure in 2013, my goal was to reinstall an iconic French brand to become a global consumer computing brand, positioned in the entry and mid-range segments neglected by the computer giants (HP, Dell, Apple, Asus, Lenovo, Acer).

We have built our success around three fundamentals: a time-to-market organization that allows for the rapid integration of the latest innovations ; well-designed products ; and an unparalleled price-quality ratio, based on a Fabless business model. Metavisio is responsible for the design, R&D and assembly of some of its products, but does not have a manufacturing plant for electronic components.

No one would have bet on the fact that we would represent nearly 7% of PC/Notebook sales in France in 2021, and that we would be the leader in the under 300€ segment with a 36% market share. This winning positioning is accompanied by a gradual strategy of moving upmarket and developing specific products, such as Gaming PCs and Crypto servers, which are future growth drivers.

Our 2021 results reflect the acceleration of this strategy of conquest, both in France and internationally: 2021 revenues have increased by 28.5% to nearly €61 million, and Ebitda by 39.7% to €6.3 million.

In 2022, Metavisio will continue its path of profitable growth. Our objective, in a still disrupted environment, is to achieve revenues of around €70 million, i.e. an increase of 15%, combined with an EBITDA margin at least equivalent to that of 2021. To achieve this, we will rely on the new distribution agreements we have signed, notably in Southern Europe, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Canada, as well as on the launch of new innovative product lines such as 5G ultra-connected PCs.

To support this development, we have announced our plan to transfer Access+ to Euronext Growth in the short term. This new step will be an opportunity to welcome new investors and to be listed on a continuous basis in order to offer a better liquidity of the stock.

Group SFIT becomes METAVISIO

This name change reflects the new international ambition of the Group. After 9 years of growth, METAVISIO (THOMSON Computing) develops its expertise for the benefit of customers in France
in Europe and North America. Thanks to its range of innovative, connected and accessible products, the company has strengthened its international footprint with the signature of several distribution agreements, notably in the United Kingdom, Southern Europe and Scandinavia.


In this context, this change of name, supported by all the teams, makes sense. More dynamic and more universal, it is in line with our history while reflecting METAVISIO's new aspirations, namely to build a European and worldwide brand of consumer computing.

This is to offer the latest technologies at the best price, in the entry and mid-range segments neglected by the American and Chinese computer giants. This new identity marks a decisive step in our development.

TEDDY RINER - A historical and Olympic partner 

Since 2016, the ten-time world champion judoka, has become the ambassador of METAVISIO - Thomson Computing, a brand relaunched in IT by entrepreneur Stéphan Français in 2013. 

In 2016, the high-level athlete not only became our ambassador but also our partner. Teddy Riner, the emblem of France that wins and makes people dream, decided to participate in the METAVISIO - Thomson Computing adventure by investing in both the capital and the brand image of the company.

Indeed, the judoka declared "I invest to be at the heart of a project. If it's just to give money, I'm not interested. I am proud to have my ideas, to be at the base of a project. In everything I do, I am committed."

The choice of this decision was not made by chance. At METAVISIO - Thomson Computing we wanted a character that represents the values of the company. 

Teddy Riner is the embodiment of France's winning spirit. His career path corresponds perfectly to the image of French success that we want to embody at Thomson Computing.
